Guidelines
What can go on a profile, and what happens when something shouldn't
What a page is for
The places you’d send a friend to. Your cities, your notes on them, your ratings, and your own photos of the places. Write the way you’d text it.
What doesn't go
Hate, or anything that attacks people for who they are. Harassment, threats or bullying. Sexual content. Violence. Someone’s private information, such as where a person lives, their number or their photo taken without asking. Pretending to be someone you’re not, or a business you don’t run. Spam and scams. Anything illegal.
Who sees what
A profile is public, and so is every city on it: anyone can open one and follow you. Gatekept spots never go on a profile, and a city you leave off stays as private as its links. Only the people you hand a link to can see it.
Report and block
Every profile and every shared list has Report at its foot. A report goes to us, and the person it’s about is never told who sent it. Block on a profile stops you following them, takes their cities off your globe and hides their lists from you on their page. They aren’t told about that either.
What we do
We read every report. A page or a list that breaks these rules is taken down. Its owner still has their lists, and nobody else can see them. Someone who keeps breaking them loses their profile and their account.
