A map of the places you've been

Keep the places themselves, city by city, and mark each one been or to go. Put those cities on a Go Here profile and its atlas fills in every country where you’ve been somewhere, outlines the ones where you only have places to go, pins each city, and counts the countries, cities and spots. It grows from the places you keep, so it is not a scratch-off map of countries.

Every spot is been or to go. Searched for or pinned on a city’s map, a place counts as been. Saved from a video, a post or a friend’s list, or added from home, it starts as to go, and rating it marks it been. On a city’s map, been spots are filled squares and the ones to go are open.

A profile at gohere.studio/@you shows the cities you choose, with an atlas of the world: every country you’ve been somewhere filled in, the ones where you only have places to go outlined, and a pin on each city. Beside it, the counts of countries, cities and spots been and to go, the countries by name, and the ones still to go.

A profile needs a sign-in: an email address, Apple or Google. Its page is public, so anyone with the address sees the atlas.

Only the cities you put on the profile count. A gatekept spot never does, and a city whose spots are all gatekept gets no pin. Each city counts toward the country it sits in on the map.
