Turn a list of places into a map

Guide · Updated November 3, 2026

The short answer

Paste the list into Go Here under Import and each line is found on the map, with your notes kept beside it. It reads lists as people write them: names with a comment, a district in brackets, a rating at the end. You check each match before it is added, and the whole list becomes one map you can share.

Paste it as it is

A list in your notes app, a long text from a friend, a document someone shared: paste it under Import, then List, and name the city if the list doesn’t. No tidying first. “Septime, book a month out” becomes Septime, with “book a month out” as its note.

Or a screenshot

If the list is a picture, a story or a screenshot of someone’s notes, use Screenshot instead. Every place written in it is read.

Check the matches

Each line comes back found on the map, with the other matches it considered. A place open map data doesn’t know, often a stall inside a food hall or a counter in a store, gets Look it up on Google, or you can drop a pin by hand.

Ratings come too

A score at the end of a line, like “, 9.2”, is read as a rating out of 10 when you bring the list in as places you have been. Bring it in as places to go and the ratings are left out.

Questions

How do I map a list of addresses or restaurant names?

In Go Here, open Import, choose List, paste the names or addresses, and name the city. Each one is found on the map for you to check, then the list is a map you can open anywhere and share by link.

Can I import my list from a notes app?

Yes. Copy the note and paste it under Import, then List. Comments after a name become that place’s note.

How many places can I import?

The first 20 spots, across all your cities, are free. Go Here Pro takes the limit away, $2.99 a month, $19.99 a year or $49.99 once in the US, bought in the iPhone app. A friend adding to your list never pays. An import past the free spots offers to add what fits, or to go Pro and add them all.
